Plan around arrival promises
Keep customer arrival windows visible while arranging visits and review work that cannot fit under the current constraints.
Dayweave · private test access open
Dayweave helps dispatchers compare field-service routes around customer arrival windows, team availability, first and last visits, and office or customer endpoints.
Dayweave is now available for private testing
Install on a test account only. ServiceM8 has not verified or approved this draft. Multi-stop schedule publishing and general customer messaging are not enabled. Checkout is disabled, so there is no Dayweave charge.

The planning workflow
The planner is designed for flexible jobs booked with arrival windows, where a dispatcher needs to see the day’s work before promising another slot.
Keep customer arrival windows visible while arranging visits and review work that cannot fit under the current constraints.
Use technician shifts, skills, availability and first or last visit preferences when comparing a proposed day.
Set a route to start or finish at an office, a technician’s home, or a selected customer location.
Inspect proposed assignments, travel estimates and unassigned visits before deciding what should change.
The screenshots show a local test workspace with fictional visits and staff. They are product previews, not a live connected account.
Testing status
Private test installation is available now. Dayweave's route planner has been exercised with synthetic route data at 300 jobs and 60 technicians. Live ServiceM8 schedule write-back remains restricted to an exact, dedicated test job; multi-stop publishing and general customer activation are not enabled.
Road-time estimates require a locally configured OSRM service. The current Lancashire road extract does not cover every region, and OSRM estimates do not include live traffic. Without road routing, the planner labels its estimates as indicative.
The optimiser searches a bounded set of options and reports visits it could not place. It does not guarantee a globally optimal route or confirm legal break compliance.
Customer messaging is not open for general use.
Confirmation and reminder workflows remain restricted to separately authorised test jobs.
