Inventory Flow

GBP £10 / month

Listed Free in the ServiceM8 Add-on Store. Subscription is billed externally via Stripe (7-day trial on new checkouts) — not through ServiceM8 billing.

Company-wide van and store inventory with supplier document intake, ServiceM8 job materials, and offline mobile access. Unlimited staff on one subscription.

Van & store

Per-staff van locations plus an optional company store. Transfers, fractional quantities, and an immutable movement ledger.

Job billing

Check out, use, and return stock on ServiceM8 jobs with generated job numbers in the UI. Ambiguous bill writes become administrator Sync Issues.

Supplier intake

Forward invoices and credit notes to a company inbound address. AI-assisted parsing with manual limbo and administrator approval.

Offline sync

Encrypted SQLite on native devices and IndexedDB on web. Conflict-aware outbox with server authority.

Low-stock alerts

Firebase Cloud Messaging when van or store stock crosses configured thresholds — requires native push setup on release builds.

Mobile companion

Optional iOS and Android apps for field staff. Billing and company setup stay in the ServiceM8-connected web app — not inside the mobile stores.

How to use Inventory Flow

  1. Connect Inventory Flow from the ServiceM8 Add-on Store or your developer install link, then allow OAuth access when prompted.
  2. In Settings, click Refresh materials — it imports your ServiceM8 materials list and automatically creates one van for each staff member. Enable the beta features you need (Stock requests, Purchase orders, Catalogue import…).
  3. Bulk-load stock via Requests → Catalogue import (paste CSV; locations and min/max levels are included — bins are added afterwards in Settings). Add items manually with the Add button.
  4. Move stock to vans with Send to van, set minimums and maximums on the Replenish screen, and generate per-supplier purchase orders when stock runs low.
  5. Engineers request stock from the Requests tab; store staff approve and fulfil. On jobs, checked-out items are billed at your ServiceM8 materials prices.
  6. Optional: install the Inventory Flow iOS or Android companion app for offline field access and low-stock push alerts.

Install on Android

Download the Inventory Flow APK directly to an Android phone or tablet, then open it to install the companion app.

Download Android APK
  1. Open the downloaded APK from your browser or Files app.
  2. If Android asks, allow your browser or Files app to install unknown apps.
  3. Tap Install, then open Inventory Flow and sign in after connecting ServiceM8.

Stock in Inventory Flow vs ServiceM8 stock levels

Stock quantities, minimum/maximum levels and bins live in Inventory Flow — every transfer, checkout and use updates them here. ServiceM8 also shows stock levels on catalogue items, but those come from your accounting package (Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks Online) and only change when invoices are approved and synced. See ServiceM8's stock levels article. Checked-out stock is added to job bills at your ServiceM8 materials prices; Inventory Flow keeps cost prices for valuation only.
